Maricruz Talavera-Pettis is the Director of Finance and Compliance for Rosalie Manor Community and Family Services in Milwaukee and currently serves as the Treasurer for Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee.

Twenty standards addressing governance and oversight; measuring effectiveness; finances; and fundraising and informational materials comprise the BBB Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability. Wisconsin Better Business Bureau President Ran Hoth talks with Pat Wyzbinski of the Nonprofit Management Fund about why the Better Business Bureau decided to create these standards and why organizations meeting the standards are encouraged to apply for a BBB national charity seal.
